Serrated Extruded Fin Tube

Extruded Serrated fin tubes also belongs to bi-metal extruded fin tube, but with the aluminum fin being serrated into several segments like picture below.

 

Almost same as extruded aluminum fin, the base tube (carbon steel, stainless steel tube, alloy tube, copper tube) is inserted into the aluminum muff tube, through rolling process, the fins are extruded out of the aluminum sleeve. Then by serrated machine, the aluminum fins are cut into segments (12 section and 24 sections). The others steps remains same as solid plain extruded fin tube, ends fin strip off from tube, cleaning, blast blowing, drying and then package.

Advantage

 

Comparing with solid plain extruded fin tube, the serrated fins on the surface can increase the flow area of flue gas and wind tunnel effect then are increased, the pressure difference on both side of the fin is reduced. Finally the heat transfer efficiency is increased.

 

 

Maximum operating temperature for extruded serrated fin tubes is 300℃。

Q: How do you do the package for extruded serrated fin tubes

All tube ends will be covered with a plastic cap to protect the tube ends from corrosion

Between each layer of fin tubes, there will be a pearl to separate the fins from damaging

Inside the wooden case, there will waterproof tar paper or transparent film

Outside using the thick plywood case with steel frame welded and supported

The crates will be adequately blocked and fastened to prevent the goods moving inside the wooden case.

Package is strong enough for handling.

 

Q: How long is your delivery time?

A: It depends on material and quantity. The general delivery time is 25-30 days after receiving your PO and deposit. But if we have materials in stock, 5-7 days is enough.
